So as some of you know, !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! I am having one hell of a time deciding what car/truck to get, but I have it down to a short list:

Charger R/T Scat Pack

Kinja'd!!!

Charger SRT 392

Kinja'd!!!

Chevrolet SS

Kinja'd!!!

Chevy Silverado 2500 Z71

Kinja'd!!!

Fusion SE AWD

Kinja'd!!!

Here's my logic. I love the new SRT style front end on the new hi-po Chargers. Not a huge MOPAR guy, I'm concerned about build quality, durability, etc buying an FCA product. Also, I can only imagine these will be slip-n-slides in the winter. The SS fits the bill, but I find it fugly. Though it will probably be a collectors car after its paid off, and SS/Monte Carlo SS side-by-side in the garage would be a nice picture. The 2500 is a car hauler that doubles as reliable transportation. Finally, I really like my Fusion but it needs a bit more power and AWD because it is bad in the winter.

Did I miss anything? 4 Doors, 'Murican and not horrible?

What about a CTS 3.6 AWD? Or is that out of budget?

I like the SS, I think it is more mature to take clients out in? Is the $780 able to go towards insurance?

If you are willing to spend up for the SRT Charger, it has the better suspension and brakes between the two.

The ATS just feels cheap to me. the interior material quality is too poor for a car costing 43k. i can get a V8 stick and a chevy badge for the same amount.

Leasing, or can the funds go towards a purchase (car loan)?

purchasing most likely, as 20k ish miles per year. Ford offers 19.5k / yr leases.

Then definitely a Charger SRT 392. Better brakes and suspension compared to the Scat Pack.

i have two concerns, first, how is it in the winter, and second can i even get steelies that will go over the giant brakes for snow tires?

SS for sure, though the chargers are tempting I would have the same reservations as you, and you see those all over the place.

With a little money down, you could get a 2014 CTS V-Sport CPO with about 5 years and 70k miles on a bumper-to-bumper warranty.

has to be paid off in 4 years. That's pushing it with the type of payment I want.

Snow and 450+ ft-lbs of torque going to the rear wheels isn't going to work well, is it? And the steelies are a good point. You'd probably have the same issue in the SS.

Hmmm... Screw it, Silverado 2500. Or a Sierra Denali, because lux-truck.

I want to say SS, because if you buy it then it might encourage GM to make more. But god damn is it hard when the Charger (both of them) looks so good.

The SS does have a much nicer interior and seating position. Have you tried it? Miles better. I forget all about how nondescript the SS looks once inside. The Charger is old and it feels like it inside, even with the improvements. It's also stuck as an automatic, which may or may not matter to you.

The other options are just...meh.

If you go Charger...R/T Scat Pack. Because the 392 is only a hair less ridiculous than a Hellcat, and you might actually want to drive it around in seriously inclement weather.

Yeah, never mind on that one. I'd suggest the SS or an ATS 3.6 CPO then. I like the Chargers, but I think the Chevy and the Caddy would be more practical while still having some excitement.

It seems you like American cars and do need reliability+space. CTS AWD would be my recommendation.

The CTS is not a lot of car for 50k

Then Charger. Or, what I would do is find the lowest mileage 300 SRT-8.
